The ASUS DRW-24B1LT / 24B1ST can read and write data on DVDR/RW and DVDRAM formats.

It is a low-power drive that allows you to permanently remove data from rewritable discs. This gives you freedom and efficiency when it comes to multimedia data storage and sharing.

E-Green (Energy Green Engine)

The unique drive E-Green Engine technology includes an E-Green Mode that automatically stops drive applications when not in use to help preserve energy, so benefiting the environment by lowering CO2 emissions and tree depletion.

OTS (Optimal Tuning Strategy)

With OTS, the drive will do a test before actually burning, which will automatically develop the ideal burning strategy for the greatest burning quality.

E-Hammer

E-Hammer allows you to permanently remove data from writable disc formats (CD-R and DVD-R).

Once erased, the data cannot be retrieved or restored, and the optical drive will no longer be able to read the disc.

This assures data integrity, removes the inconvenience of scratching your old discs, and adheres to our environmental commitment.

AVRS (Auto Vibration Reducing System)

The AVRS technology is intended to reduce vibration induced by the spindle motor as well as resonance between components, as well as between the drive and PC chassis.

AVRS is intended to decrease vibration and noise caused by spinning machinery with an uneven mass.

ASUS DRW-24B1 has excellent reading and playability thanks to AVRS.
