Microsoft Surface Pro 8 13" Touch Display i5/16/256 significantly improves on its predecessor, the Surface Pro 7, to provide a powerful but portable computing experience

The PixelSense Flow display is now 13 inches in size, which is 11% bigger than the Surface Pro's 12.3" screen.

Rich Viewing Experience

To give a rich viewing experience, the display now supports Dolby Vision and Adaptive Color technology.

While the display has a 60 Hz refresh rate by default, Microsoft allows users to increase it to 120 Hz for better navigation, games, and pen interactions also boasts a resolution of 2880 x 1920, which is 10.8% higher than the Surface Pro 7.

Microsoft also increased the brightness of the screen by 12.5%. Because the display still supports 10-point touch, you'll be able to use all of the multi-touch gestures and the Surface Slim Pen 2.

In terms of performance, Microsoft claims that the Surface Pro 8 offers up to 40% more sustained CPU performance and up to 74% more sustained graphics performance than the Surface Pro 7. The Intel Core i5 4-Core (11th Gen) processor with integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics and 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM gives you the power and performance you need to operate your favorite programs.

Faster boot times are possible thanks to the 128GB SSD.

Connectivity is just as crucial as performance. Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.1 are both supported by the Surface Pro 8. There are also two Thunderbolt 4 ports with data transfer rates of up to 40 Gb/s. A 5MP front camera with 1080p video and Windows Hello facial recognition is also included. 1080p and 4K video are supported via the 10MP back camera.

The Surface Pro 8 combines performance and connectivity with portability. The Surface Pro 8 is still small and easy to travel with, weighing just under 2 pounds and measuring just 0.37" thin. The kickstand has a full-friction multi-position hinge that can be adjusted up to 165 degrees on the anodized aluminum body.

The Surface Pro 8 can last up to 16 hours on a single charge (depending on usage), and Microsoft claims that the Surface Pro 8 can be charged up to 80% in just one hour. Windows 11 Home is the installed operating system.

Surface Pro 8 - 13" PixelSense Flow 10-Point Multi-Touch Display

The Surface Pro 8 comes with a 13-inch PixelSense Flow display that supports 10-point touch. It has a resolution of 2880 x 1920 pixels and a 3:2 aspect ratio, giving it a pixel density of 267 pixels per inch (pixels per inch).The display also supports Dolby Vision and has an ambient color sensor that adjusts the color temperature and brightness automatically depending on the lighting conditions.

120 Hz Refresh Rate

The screen's refresh rate is set to 60 Hz by default, but you can increase it to 120 Hz for better browsing and gameplay while playing your favorite game. The Surface Slim Pen 2 (available separately) may be more intuitive to use with the faster refresh rate.

11th Gen Intel Core Quad-Core Performance

The processor in this system is an Intel Core i5-1135G7 from the 11th generation. Its quad cores have a base speed of 2.4 GHz and can be overclocked to 4.2 GHz.

Thunderbolt 4

When utilized with compatible devices, Thunderbolt 4 is a physical interface that uses the reversible USB Type-C connector and has a maximum speed of 40 Gb/s. The port can also send data at up to 10 Gb/s over USB 3.2, and the dual-bandwidth DisplayPort 1.2 allows you to connect two 4K displays at the same time. You can also use a single port to daisy link up to six devices.
