ET-EMU100/ELU20 ultra-short-throw lenses by Panasonic, providing unparalleled versatility and convenience for immersive projection experiences
With zero screen offset and shadows, these lenses allow for a 200-inch (16:10) image to be projected from just 1.43 m (4.69 ft) away, making them perfect for areas with limited installation space. The mirrorless design ensures unobstructed visibility and supports screen-centered setup for rear-projection, simplifying the installation process. The ET-EMU100/ELU20 lenses offer flexibility, streamlining the installation workflow. Powered optical zoom and V/H Lens Shift* enhance projector location flexibility, reducing the need for precise installation and allowing for image adjustment after installation without having to relocate the projector.
Durability is a key feature of these lenses
The ET-ELU20 lens features a heat- and scratch-resistant glass lens, which minimizes focus aberration caused by fluctuating lens temperature and ensures sharp image quality. The ET-EMU100 lens supports AFO (Active Focus Optimizer), maintaining crisp focus regardless of content brightness.
Panasonic's ultra-short-throw lenses provide expanding options for immersive spatial performance
These innovative zero-offset zoom lenses are compatible with both DLP™ projectors and select LCD laser projectors, allowing exhibition designers to choose the projection display technology that best suits their needs. With a short throw ratio and a minimum projection distance of 1.43 m (4.69 ft) for a 200-inch (16:10) image, these lenses enable immersive LCD laser projection in museums and exhibition spaces with limited space.
Both lenses offer unobstructed visibility with zero screen offset, eliminating the gap between the top of the image and the ceiling or projector mounting surface. This allows for seamless floor-to-ceiling image coverage or complete filling of the screen area without any gaps. The mirrorless design also eliminates lens overhang, making it easy to mount the projector directly on the ceiling in rooms with low ceilings, without the need for in-ceiling projector recessing.
Thanks to the mirrorless design, projectors can be set with the lens positioned at the screen center for rear-projection installations. This ensures uniform brightness and color reproduction from the center of the image to the corners and edges.
In terms of durability, the ET-ELU20 lens employs a tough all-glass design, providing high resistance to heat and scratches. The glass lens elements also help reduce focus aberration caused by fluctuating operating temperature, ensuring clear and sharp image quality. Paired with Panasonic's highly reliable LCD laser projectors, these lenses guarantee stable and long-lasting imaging performance.
The ET-EMU100 lens is compatible with the projector's AFO (Active Focus Optimizer) function. It continuously monitors the lens temperature and adjusts focus accordingly, ensuring optimal focus even as the lens temperature fluctuates with the brightness of the content being projected, resulting in consistently sharp images.
