Available as a base station, this unit can be used for any on-base communication needs, and it's water resistant for use in boats and vehicles.

ICOM IC-A120 features automatic noise reduction technology, which compensates for higher level of background noise as compared to the original A110 Icom Radio Models. The built-in ANC reduces the ambient background noise while maintaining the voice dialogues. The new ground emitting speaker gives exceptional sound quality.

High Visibility, Simple Operation

Displaying icons and alphanumeric characters clearly is possible thanks to the full dot-matrix LCD. From the radio's front panel, users can easily program memory channels and change other radio settings. Radio settings can also restrict these customizing functions.

Optional Bluetooth ® Headset Connectivity

iCom IC-A120 can be used with a Bluetooth® headset from a third-party with the optional UT-133A Bluetooth® unit. Additionally, the side tone function can be used with the optional VS-3 Bluetooth ® headset.

Active Noise Cancelling (ANC)

As a result of the recently added built-in ANC, the transmitted and received signals contain less background noise. When used in a noisy airport environment, this function can be extremely useful. Automatic noise limiters (ANL)* reduce pulse-type noise generated by engine ignition.

* The ANL and ANC functions cannot be used at the same time.

IP54 Dust-Protection and Water Resistance

In addition to dust- and water-resistance, iCOM IC-A120 has IP54 protection. Construction like this is suitable for open-air vehicles.

Dualwatch and ON-Hook Scan Functions

Dualwatch functions alternately check the operating channel and priority. With the ON-Hook scan function active, the hand microphone starts scanning automatically once it is hooked up to the microphone hanger. The scan stops at the priority or display channel (depending on the preprogramming) when the microphone is taken off hook.

Side Tone Function

The side tone function enables you to monitor your own transmitted voice using the connected headset when using a third-party headset and the optional OPC-871A headset adapter. It is possible to monitor your voice even when using a hand microphone.

Optional Speaker-Microphone, HM-217

The HM-217's built-in speaker allows you to listen to audio received. You can access up/down buttons on the speakermicrophone's side panel, as well as two programmable buttons (P1/P2) on the speaker microphone's front panel.
