These cleaning swabs are used to clean recessed areas that are difficult to hand clean. They are used to accurately clean thermal print heads in thermal receipt / label printers; clean magnetic read heads; rollers' pathways and other hard to reach areas on scanners, currency counters, printers, and other office equipment.
To clean a thermal printer use the cleaning swab to clean the print head by using a back and fourth motion to remove dirt and debris from the print head extending the life of the print head and maintaining a readable image.
