A male Type-C port slides into and automatically levels your device in the ThinkPad Pro Dock (sold separately), a docking station that can attach to both sides of a USB-C port.
The dock secures your ThinkPad in place and connects to all your peripherals-and it's common to all the newer ThinkPad models.

You can secure your camera on the T590 by using ThinkShutter, a physical cover.
A touch fingerprint reader and an optional IR camera (infrared) can also be added for biometric login.
