COLOR - Ultimate professional-grade colors

ASUS OLED laptops are very detailed and realistic, and they have a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.

This means that the colors shown on the screen are richer and more vivid. This is great for projects that need a lot of color, but it also makes any kind of content look better.

If you have a standard LCD laptop, you can't get a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut at low brightness, but on an ASUS OLED laptop, you can.

At a gray-level brightness of 16 G, LCD laptops only have a DCI-P3 color gamut of 11%. ASUS OLED laptops have a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.

EYE CARE - 70% blue-light reduction for eye care

Blue light is known to make eyes hurt and make it hard to get a good night's sleep.

However, because of the special organic lighting materials in an OLED screen, ASUS OLED laptops emit 70% less harmful blue light2.

They're also certified by TÜV Rheinland and SGS, which means they're safe for your health.

It's also important to note that unlike traditional blue-light filters, shifting the spectrum means there's no need to change the colors.

Eye care, even more critical for children

Because children's eyes aren't fully developed, blue light can get into their eyes more easily because their lenses and corneas are more transparent.

This could cause their retinas to age faster than normal.

Lower blue light, better eye care

OLED has 1.6x color volume compared to LCD

On traditional LCD displays, the quality of detail and color usually gets worse as the brightness goes down.

They can also show a lot of detail at lower brightness settings because of their high contrast and ability to keep a wide color gamut even when the screen isn't as bright as it used to be.

At any brightness, ASUS OLED displays have about a 60% higher color volume than traditional 2D color gamuts. This means that they can show better colors at any brightness level.

OLED has much higher perceptual brightness

ASUS OLED laptops can keep good color reproduction at any brightness level, so you can adjust the brightness of the screen to match your work environment while still getting vivid colors.

In a living room, for example, you only need 177 nits of brightness in an OLED screen to get the same clear picture as 400 nits of brightness in an LCD screen.

At the lower brightness levels required by OLED displays, less blue light is emitted, which is bad for your eyes.

CONTRAST True black: See the unseen

ASUS OLED laptops do a great job of displaying blacks.

Three sub-pixels make up an OLED pixel, each with its own self-illuminating light. A 2.8K (2880 x 1800) display has 5,184,000 pixels, which means it has 15,552,000 sub-pixels with their own self-illuminating light.

When you show black on an OLED screen, the pixel is simply turned off to make the darkest black possible.

This lets you see very clear and crisp images even in the darkest places. You'll be amazed at how many new things you'll find in your favorite movies!

RESPONSE TIME - Fastest response time on any laptop for motion clarity

Response time is the time it takes to change one color for another on a screen. The faster the time, the better the motion looks.

It shows how purple changes to blue in the diagram on the bottom of the page. It only takes 0.2 milliseconds to change from one screen to another on an ASUS OLED. On an LCD, it might take 10 milliseconds or more.

Because OLED colors and images look correct for most of the time a frame is shown, this makes a big difference. When a frame is shown, LCD images may look blurry.

If you buy a laptop with an OLED screen, it has the fastest response time of any computer. It is 50 times faster than the average laptop LCD screen.
