In September 2021, Intel released the Intel Xeon E-2334 Processor 8 MB Smart Cache, a four-core server/workstation processor.
It's a Xeon processor with the Rocket Lake-E architecture and Socket 1200.
The core count is essentially doubled, to 8 threads, thanks to Intel Hyper-Threading.
The Xeon E-2334 is built using a 14 nm manufacturing technique, however the transistor count is unknown.
On the Xeon E-2334, the unlocked multiplier may be freely adjusted, substantially simplifying overclocking because any overclocked frequency can be simply dialed in.
DDR4 memory with a dual-channel interface is supported by Intel's processor.
The fastest legally supported memory speed is 3200 MHz, however you can go even faster with overclocking (and the proper memory modules).
ECC memory is also available, which is an essential functionality for mission-critical systems in order to prevent data corruption.
