PCB with 10 layers
The Z690I AORUS ULTRA DDR4 mini-ITX board was designed with ten layers of mid-loss PCB for upgraded features and enhanced performance.
In addition to the usual 8-layer PCB, there are two additional layers for power and ground. Power traces need more space than previous generations to fully support 12th Gen CPUs. There is a separate layer dedicated to power delivery.
