The RackSolutions 2POST-4UKIT is a conversion bracket kit that allows compatible servers to be mounted in Relay Racks (2Post)

It contains four brackets, hardware, and installation instructions. The kit provides 4U of rack mount space and is designed to mount 4Post server rack equipment and networking electronics in a 2Post server rack with U-spacing. It is also suitable for flush mounting a server in a 2Post rack, providing an alternative to the common center mount kits.

The product is versatile, compatible with most slide rails from Dell, HP, and IBM, and has a weight capacity of 200 lbs. The installation is easy and requires a Philips head screwdriver and a flat head screwdriver or 3/8" nut driver.

In order to ensure that your equipment will mount properly using the 2Post Conversion Brackets, you must measure the width of your device's chassis (with the mounting rails installed) to see if the overall width exceeds 17.72". If it does, the Conversion Brackets may not work with your equipment. See illustration above for an example of how to measure the overall width.
