Heat is dissipated more efficiently with the large, low-mass heatsink over the VRM and choke. In comparison with the previous generation, the VRM heatsink surface area is 1.6X larger.

There are three thermal pads on the Z590 WIFI GUNDAM EDITION.

Using thermal pads can help transfer heat from the inductor and phase array to the heat sink.

Having three M.2 slots with heatsinks provides better cooling for the CPU.

The M.2 SSDs are kept at the optimal operating temperature using an integrated heatsink in each slot.
