An intelligent firmware algorithm is designed to maintain an ideal balance of host and background data reads and writes, hence ensuring higher QoS.

The DC P4510 provides host applications with not only double the capacity, but also up to 80% faster write speeds, up to 2x better random write IOPS/TB, and up to a 10x reduction in service time (compared to the DC P4500) at a QoS metric of 99.99 percent availability for random-access workloads.

Minimize Service Disruptions

The DC P4510 has enhanced SMART monitoring of drive health and status, employing an in-band mechanism and out-of-band access, to help ensure telemetry information without affecting existing I/O operations.

A power loss imminent (PLI) protection technique with an integrated self-test protects against data loss if system power is suddenly interrupted

PLI features, when combined with our end-to-end data route protection approach, enable easy deployment into robust data centers.

To prioritize host workload and assure better service levels, the DC P4510 integrates firmware advancements with new 3D NAND features

As a result, workload support is increased by 6x at the same service level response time.

Efficiently Manage at Scale

Dynamic namespace management provides the flexibility to enable more users and scale deployment to assist data centers make the most of increased SSD capacity per server.

TCG Opal 2.0 and a built-in AES-XTS 256-bit encryption engine are also included in the DC P4510, which are required by some secure platforms

The DC P4510 improves integration and boosts the convenience and efficiency of deploying at scale by supporting several firmware versions on a drive and allowing updates without a reset.
