The Noctua nh-c14s has been awarded and recommended more than 200 times by top international hardware websites and magazines, making it the leading 140mm top-flow cooler in the world.

The new S-version provides similar performance and further improved compatibility with its deeper fin stack and more efficient NF-A14 PWM fan.

Top-flow C-type design

Its c-type top-flow design provides excellent airflow over RAM modules and nearby motherboard components while maintaining a lower profile than comparable 140mm tower-style coolers.

Low Profile Mode

NH-C14S fits many desktop style or HTPC cases thanks to its 115mm height and NF-A14 fan installed underneath the fin stack.

Tower coolers with 140mm or 120mm fans are much taller and cannot fit beneath these fans.

This mode gives higher clearance.

The NH-C14S gives extended clearance underneath the fin stack when mounted with the NF-A14 fan on top. Therefore, it is fully compatible with chipset coolers and RAM modules with heat-spreaders up to 70mm in height.

Clearance for PCIe offset design

The layout of the NH-C14S has been off-set in two axes compared to the original NH-C14.

Due to this design, the heatsink will clear most microATX and ATX motherboard PCIe slots and I/O panels when the heatpipes bendings face these areas.

140mm premium fan with radiator NF-A14

This 140mm fan is renowned for its advanced aerodynamic features such as Flow Acceleration Channels, making it one of the quietest 140mm fans you can find.

As a result of the cooler's deeper fin stack, it achieves similar performance levels as its dual fan predecessor even though it is only using one NF-A14S.

Low-noise adapter and PWM support

NH-C14S' fan, the NF-A14 premium, can be controlled automatically through the motherboard using PWM.

With the Low-Noise Adaptor supplied, the maximum fan speed can be reduced from 1500rpm to 1200rpm for even quieter operation.

Future and past socket compatibility

Using Noctua's optional NM-I3 mounting kit, the cooler can be converted to work with older LGA1366 and LGA775 sockets that comply with the open SecuFirm standard. For future sockets, Noctua will also provide upgrade kits if technically feasible.
