The Tripp Lite Switched PDU / Power Distribution Unit is a powerful tool for advanced network control and monitoring

It allows you to individually turn on, turn off, recycle or lock-out power to each receptacle, monitor electrical conditions, and remotely monitor output power consumption.

The PowerAlert interface lets you remotely control and get custom notifications of specific conditions via email, secure web, SNMP, Telnet or SSH interface. You can control individual outlets in real-time to remotely reboot unresponsive network hardware, or program them for user-defined power-up and power-down sequences to ensure proper startup of IT systems and prevent inrush-related overloads as network equipment is first energized.

You can also lock-off unused PDU outlets to prevent the connection of unauthorized hardware. The PDU output current consumption is continuously displayed locally via a visual meter and remotely via web/network interface to warn of potential overloads before critical IT mains or branch breakers trip.

This PDU comes with a NEMA L6-30P input plug with an attached 12 ft. / 3.6m line cord, and 16 switched C13 outlets with cord retention brackets. The output current consumption in amps is continuously displayed via a digital display that reports output load in amps in 3 segments (load bank 1, load bank 2, total).

This 30A 208/240V Switched Power Distribution Unit / PDU is designed for horizontal rackmount installation in a 2U form factor, and supports power-on, power-off or reboot of each outlet on a real-time or programmable basis. You can also enable reboot of locked equipment, custom power-on/power-off sequences, load-shedding of optional loads, and disabling unused outlets.

The PDU also supports user-specified alarm notification thresholds, in-rack environmental reporting with optional temperature/humidity sensors, rack access notification with up to 4 optional door sensors, and tiered access privileges for administrators and guests. Alert notifications via email or SNMP traps offer immediate event notification, and firmware upgrade ability supports future product enhancements.

The PDU supports HTTP, HTTPS, PowerAlert Network Management System, SMTP, SNMPv1, SNMPv2, SNMPv3, Telnet, SSH, FTP, DHCP, BOOTP, NTP protocols, and is fully compatible with FREE PowerAlert Network Management System / NMS Software. You can install it in a 2 or 4 post rack, or mount it on a wall or under a counter using the included mounting brackets and cord retention brackets.
